Groundworks News - Linden Homes SW awards FCG with a new contract
Grampound - The Project has an approximate order value of 1.9 million pounds. It is a mixed development on both brown and greenfield land consisting of 67 units in total. The project includes the refurbishment of the Old Tannery buildings.
We will construct the roads, sewers and building sub-structures.
We look forward to working alongside Linden Homes on this development.
Groundworks News - FCG Awarded New Contract by Kier Living
In September, Kier Living awarded Fred Champion Groundworks a new contract in St Austell.
Cedar Woods, St Austell The project has an approximate Groundworks order value of £200,000 and consists of two new blocks of flats. Our work consists of:-
- New substructure/foundations
- Ground floors - FCG are using the PCC Beam with Tetris block floor infill system with a structural screed to the ground floor slabs, in lieu. of standard PCC beam and block floors.
- Drainage
- External works.
We look forward to working with Kier on another successful project.
Groundworks News - Ker Street, Phase 2 & Ogwell, Phase 2 awarded to FCG.
On going contracts for Fred Champion Groundworks are due to start their next phases in July 2011. Award winning site - Ker Street, Devonport and East Ogwell Cross, Newton Abbot were both awarded to FCG in June 2011.
Ker Street - Phase 2 will consist of approximately 60 mixed use developments with an approximate order value of 1.2 million pounds, with Ogwell – Phase 2 consisting of approximately 40 mixed use developments with an approximate order value of 1.7 million pounds.
We look forward to continuing the success of these developments along side Linden Homes.
