Fred Champion - Bulk Excavation

Over recent years we have expanded our Groundwork’s business to include bulk excavation earthworks. We have developed this section of the company because we found that in some instances earthworks packages were being offered separate to the Groundwork’s package. We are now able to offer the full benefit of bulk earthworks economy to our overall Groundwork’s operations.

Within our plant fleet we have our specific bulk earthworks machinery, consisting of 52 tonne – 20 tonne 360 excavators, coupled with 25tonne Volvo A25D articulated dump trucks to 9tonne and 6tonne dumpers. To aid with placement and compaction we have CAT D5 highdrive dozers and rollers of all sizes achieving compaction equivalent to 90 tonnes of pressure.
